In July I saw a Facebook post from http://turningtwenty.com that caught my interest. They were offering a free block of the month for those who signed up in advance. It’s non-traditional in that they are releasing a new block and/or instructions on the first and third Mondays of the month from July to December.
It’s a mystery as to how these blocks will be put together to assemble the finished 76″ x 96″ “Seeing Stars Quilt”. I find it intriguing, because you have to make 2 blocks each time that are exactly alike except for the size. You make a 12″ block and a twin 6″ block.
I just finished constructing block 7 this morning.
Here are my 7 blocks to date.
As you can see, my finished quilt will be very scrappy. Hopefully it will look good once put together.
